How to Reach Us
By Plane
From Venice Marco Polo Airport:
Taxi to San Basilio: it takes about 20 minutes to arrive at the Passenger Terminal at the Port of Venice, San Basilio. Walk about 200 metres towards the water bus stop San Basilio, continue along the walkway that runs alongside the Giudecca Canal for a further 200 metres, Palazzo Veneziano will be on your left.
Water Taxi: it takes about 30 minutes to reach the front door of the Palazzo Veneziano.
Alilaguna Shuttle: On the Blue Line – disembark at the stop marked “Zattere” after about one hour and forty minutes’ journey. Turn left and follow along the walkway beside the canal for about 300 metres. (about €15.00/16.00 per person)
BUS: Atvo bus or Actv bus line 5 towards Venice – Piazzale Roma. In 20 minutes you will have arrived in Venice (about €8.50 per person)
From Piazzale Roma:
Take the vaporetto (public waterbus) Line 5.1, Line 2 or Line 6 (about €7.50 per person) and get off at the stop marked “Zattere.” Turn left and follow the walkway alongside the canal for about 200 metres. Palazzo Veneziano will be on your right
Water Taxi will take you about 10 minutes to arrive in front of the Palazzo Veneziano
It will take you 15 minutes to walk
From “Canova” Airport in Treviso:
TAXI to San Basilio: in about 40 minutes you will reach the Passenger Terminal at the Port of Venice, San Basilio. Walk about 200 metres towards the San Basilio shuttle, continue along the walkway that runs alongside the Giudecca Canal for another 200 metres, Palazzo Veneziano will be on your left.
BUS: ATVO line towards Venice – Piazzale Roma. You will arrive in Venice in about 45 minutes. (About €12.00 per person).
By Train
Vaporetto (public waterbus): Take the vaporetto Line 5.1 or Line 2 (about €7.50 per person) and get off at the station marked “Zattere.” Turn left and follow the walkway alongside the canal for about 200 metres. Palazzo Veneziano will be on your right

On foot: it will take about 20 minutes to reach the Palazzo Veneziano

Parking Tronchetto
Take the vaporetto Line 2 (about €7,50 per person) and get off at the stop marked “San Basilio.” Turn right and follow the walkway alongside the canal for about 200 metres. Palazzo Veneziano will be on your left
Water Taxi will take about 10 minutes to arrive in front of the Palazzo Veneziano
It will take about 15 minutes on foot
From the Cruise Terminal (Tronchetto)
It will take about 10 minutes to arrive in front of the Palazzo Veneziano by private water taxi
You can also take the People Mover (the metro) to Piazzale Roma (about €1.50 per person).
