By Plane
From “Marco Polo” International Airport
With the Alilaguna public water transport:
Once at the ARRIVALS of the Airport, follow the signs to the pier / dock (5 minutes’ walk). Take the Alilaguna boat, Orange line, the journey takes 42 minutes. Get off at the third stop which is called “Guglie” and follow the road alongside the canal for 200 meters. The ticket costs € 15.00 per person and can be purchased online (link https://www.alilaguna.it/da-aeroporto-lidoveneziaterminal-crociere-o-viceversa )
BUS: Take the Atvo bus or Actv bus line 5 to Venice – Piazzale Roma. In 20 minutes, you will be in Venice. From here, take the ACTV line 5.2 vaporetto, the journey takes 12 minutes. Get off at the fourth stop called “Tre Archi”, located 20 meters from the Carnival Palace.
If you prefer a short 15-minute walk, once in Piazzale Roma cross the Calatrava bridge and take Lista di Spagna; after 5 minutes, cross the Ponte delle Guglie (the only bridge to cross), turn immediately left and follow the road alongside the canal for 3 minutes to the hotel.
PRIVATE WATER TAXI:
Once at the ARRIVALS of the airport, follow the signs to the pier / dock (5 minutes’ walk). You will find there the water taxi station and you can take the first available taxi. The journey takes 25 minutes. You will arrive directly at the entrance of the Carnival Palace.
MEET AND GREET Organized by the Carnival Palace:
Private water taxi. At the exit of the arrival’s hall, a driver will be waiting for you with a sign and will accompany you to the airport dock. Form here you will continue with a private boat booked just for you. The duration of the journey is approximately 25 minutes.
Private taxi + water taxi. At the exit of the arrivals hall a driver will be waiting for you with a sign. He will take you by taxi to Piazzale Roma. Form here you will switch into a taxi boat that will be waiting for you and will bring you to Carnival Palace. The duration of the entire journey is about 35 minutes.
Private taxi + Vaporetto. At the exit of the arrivals hall a driver will be waiting for you with a sign. He will take you by taxi to Santa Marta. From here you will switch into the vaporetto line 5.2 that will take you to Tre Archi (5 stops). The duration of the entire journey is about 45 minutes.
Park your car in one of the car parks on the outskirts of Venice: Garage San Marco in Piazzale Roma or Interparking Tronchetto.

The cost is around € 45.00 for 24 hours. You can book your place directly on the parking site (http://www.garagesanmarco.it). You will also have the opportunity to mention where you are staying at. By selecting the Carnival Palace you will be given a discount. Otherwise at the time of check-out we will give you a voucher to present at the cash desk to get the discount.

From Dock D (every 20 minutes) line n5.2 direction Fondamente Nove and get off at “Tre Archi”. Journey lasts 10 minutes. From there, turn right and walk for 45 metres to reach our hotel. ACTV tickets cost €9,50 per person, but you can also find 1 day ticket (25,00 €), 2 days ticket (35,00 €), 3 days ticket (45,00 €) and 7 days ticket (65,00 €)..
If you prefer a short 10-minute walk, when you leave the station, keep left and take Lista di Spagna; after 5 minutes, cross the Ponte delle Guglie (the only bridge to cross), turn immediately left and follow the road alongside the canal for 3 minutes. You have arrived to Carnival Palace.
